Bigg Boss Kannada Season 5
Bigg Boss Kannada 5 (BBK5) was the fifth season of Kannada’s Bigg Boss Kannada television series, which premiered on October 15, 2017. Sudeep has taken up his role as the show’s host.
The season finale was held on January 28, 2018, and the show’s winner was declared rapper Chandan Shetty, who was awarded the prize money of some 50 lakh. Diwaker, the sales representative, was voted the runner-up.
Sudeep signed a 20-crore contract with the Colors Kannada channel to host the next five seasons from the previous season. It was announced during the grand finale of Season 4 that the next season will begin with new contestants and a renovated Bigg Boss house built in the Innovative Film City in Bidadi, Bangalore, for the previous season. The reality writer for this season was Nagendra Bhat Bilalige (Naabhi).

This is the first season to allow non-celebrities from July 2017 to the Bigg Boss house with online auditions. The non-celebrities auditions application process was carried out solely by a mobile app called Voot. Bigg boss kannada season 5 contestants list with photos.
